Savory Savannah March Luncheon

march-2016-lunch-slideJoin us for our luncheon at the beautiful Richmond Hill City Center for the March Luncheon. Author, Lynn Wilson, spent thirty-eight years as an Army spouse supporting her husband Bob and Army families. She will share her experiences with us. Her cookbook “At Ease, A Salute to Creative Entertaining” will be available for purchase. $1 of each purchase will go to a military family program.

Her book is organized by month with two themed parties per month. From a very simple outdoor barbecue to an elegant sit down dinner, this book has a party for almost any mood or occasion.
Each party includes a theme, creative invitation, decorating ideas, menu and recipes. The recipes are tried-and-true favorites collected from friends and family throughout the years.
Please help us feed those in need as our Community Outreach will be supporting the food pantries and soup kitchens in Richmond Hill. march-2016-outreach
48.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 32.8 million adults and 15.3 million children. 14 percent of households (17.4 million households) were food insecure. 6 percent of households (6.9 million households) experienced very low food security.
While we cannot bring enough food to solve the hunger our country faces, we can make a difference in our community. Your donation can help a child not go to bed unfed and starving, help a financially strapped pregnant woman eat healthy or an elderly man have dinner instead of sacrificing the cost of his meal to feed his pet. Your donations really do make a difference and we appreciate all that you have done to impact our community and leave a lasting footprint.
